HI!
Finaly I found some time to do a new post. I've been extremely busy the last few weeks and now I have a few resting days before the madness begins again.So.. as you can see on the pictures above, I've been invited to take part in the graduation show / exhibition of the HKU studends of fashion design and fashion communication called: RADIANT. The 15 designers of de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, showed their graduation collection, after months of blood, sweat and tears, to the public. I've picked out some special designers for you and if you want to see more, just click on their names below the photo!
After the show, there was an exhibition at the side where the fashion communication students showed their graduation project. I was asked to model for one of them, at her stand (pictures will be comming soon). Her project was about personal space, when do you invade in somebody's personal space. She made the giant objects that you see on the first two pictures and wondered around Utrecht in them to film peoples reactions when an enlarged square literaly pushes against them. She told me that some people actually got realy angry, especially when they found out that they were being taped! She continued her research and tried to make the link between the data that she collected and fashion. The pictures of her exhibition will be comming soon!Overall the show was realy amazing and I whas lucky enough to be there and to be part of it! It realy showed the amazing talent, diversity and individuality of the designers. It was an awesome day and hopefully next year will be just as great!Hope you're as inspired as I am!
