The Netherlands holds an awesome load of inspiring artist. Every month I will pick out one of my favorits and tell you a little bit about them.

This month, I came across the artist Paul Klemann. His method of making his arts is a little different then you're used to; he makes drawings of his dreams.

He begun in 1993, taking short notes at night, when he wakes up from his sleep, and transforming them into drawings in the daytime. He writes on his website, that dreams are a sublime translation of who you really are. They tell something about your innermost being. "Your dream world is a free world, there are laws and rules but you will never be called to account".

In the video; De Bovenkamer, made by Centraal Museum, he explains his method of capturing dreams and transforming them to paintings and drawings. If you want to see the video, click here!
